Dr. Joshua Halka attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, where he graduated with his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Dr. Halka then performed a general surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. His extraordinary level of training continued with a plastic surgery fellowship at Summa Health in Akron, OH.
Dr. Halka is board-certified by the American Board of General Surgery, having fulfilled the board's rigorous requirements for education and training. He is also a board-eligible candidate for membership with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
