Alabama SmartLipo Laser Body Sculpting

Smartlipo

You've tried dieting. You've tried exercise. But parts of your body have simply refused all of your efforts to tone up. Now you can change all that.

SmartLipo™ Laser Body Sculpting is a revolutionary, minimally-invasive treatment that does something no fitness routine in the world can — permanently destroy fat cells. Since your body has only a finite amount of these cells, no new fat cells come back. With SmartLipo you can finally have that body you have always wanted.

SmartLipo Laser Body Sculpting is ideal for the neck, jawline, arms, breasts, "bra fat," abdomen, "love handles," "saddle bags," inner and outer thighs and knees.

SmartLipo Average Cost: $3,800

Hedden Plastic Surgery Named SmartLipo Teaching Facility

Hedden Plastic Surgery has been given the honor of being selecting as a teaching facility for SmartLipo laser liposuction. With the new laser-assisted SmartLipo system, along with the skills of our caring cosmetic surgeons, patients are able to achieve results they never thought possible.

Eliminate Areas of Unwanted Fat and Tone Your Entire Body

The SmartLipo Laser Body Sculpting procedure eliminates unwanted fat while simultaneously tightening tissue and is ideal for treating small areas. The powerful yet precise laser permanently destroys fat cells by melting the fat, while instantly coagulating blood vessels, which results in less bleeding, swelling and bruising than conventional liposuction. The energy emitted by the laser also stimulates the tissue, inducing collagen production, resulting in skin tightening.

SmartLipo Frequently Asked Questions

What does SmartLipo Laser Body Sculpting do?

  • Permanently destroys fat cells.
  • Improves overall body shape.
  • Minimally-invasive.
  • Coagulation resulting in tissue tightening.

How does SmartLipo work?

The SmartLipo laser-assisted liposuction procedure is performed using a 1 millimeter cannula, or tube, inserted into the skin. A laser fiber inside of the cannula delivers energy directly to fat cells, causing them to rupture and drain away as liquid. Simultaneously, tissue around the area coagulates, resulting in overall tighter skin tissue.

Am I a candidate for SmartLipo?

SmartLipo is meant for areas that do not respond to diet or exercise. The perfect candidate is in good health and of normal body weight.

How does SmartLipo compare to conventional liposuction?

Conventional Liposuction is meant to remove greater amounts of fat. Since this can leave behind unsightly pockets of skin, laser assisted lipolysis is often a perfect complement.

Is there a recovery period?

SmartLipo is a minimally-invasive procedure which usually requires only local anesthesia. Some light trauma can occur, but you will be able to return to work in a couple of days and resume exercise after 2 weeks.

How many SmartLipo treatments are needed?

Typically only one SmartLipo treatment is required. Results can be seen within a week, with continued improvement over 3 to 6 months. A compression garment may be worn for a short period after treatment, depending on the body area treated.
